Dye Garden
For the past six years, I have grown a mini dye garden on my porch, backyard, or any space I could find in the various rental apartments I have lived in. I always make sure to grow indigo, coreopsis, marigolds, cosmos, dyer's chamomile, and black knight scabiosa. I harvest flowers almost every day and press or dry them to save for dyes. The process is so satisfying - from seeds to flowers - growing color brings me the ultimate joy.
