Dye Garden
For the past four years, I have grown a mini dye garden on my porch, backyard, or any space I can find in the various rental apartments I have lived in. In 2023, I grew indigo, coreopsis, marigolds, cosmos, dyer's chamomile, and black knight scabiosa. I had just around 15 pots. I harvested flowers almost every day and laid them out or pressed them to dry. The process is so satisfying - from seeds to flowers - growing color brings me the ultimate joy.
